Cell Phone Use: It is polite to silence your phone when at Tea; We ask that you please step outside when making or receiving phone calls.
Children/Infants/Newborns: We love children, we have 2 of our own. We ask that you give serious thought to whether or not your child is ready to enjoy afternoon tea, and to allow you and other guests to enjoy their afternoon tea. We are happy to accommodate children who are able to sit quietly for the duration of afternoon tea. The price for Afternoon tea is the same for everyone, regardless of age. We cannot allow children to be out of their seats and running around the tea room as it endangers them, our staff, our facility and other guests. Afternoon tea trays are heavy, and pots of tea are hot. If you find after arriving that your child is unable to enjoy afternoon tea without disturbing other guests, we are happy to pack your afternoon tea to go.

Changing the number of people in your party, Early Arrival, Late Arrival and Canceling a Reservation:
- Confirming Your Reservation: We will email you to confirm your reservation and verify your guest count on the Thursday prior to afternoon tea. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you do not respond to our confirmation request(s).
- Canceling: Please give us as much notice as possible in the event you need to cancel, but at least 48 hours. Proper notice gives us the opportunity to call the next person on our wait list.
- Decreasing: We purchase and prepare food based on the number of people in your reservation. If your party size reduces, we require at least 48 hours notice. If reductions in your party size happen at the last minute, we will package the extra portions for you to take home with you.
- Increasing: Adding additional guest(s) to an existing reservation requires at least 48 hours notice and is subject to seating availability. If you need to make changes, please call us to let us know: (417) 926-1827
- Early Arrival: If you arrive significantly early, we may still be preparing and may not be ready to seat you until it is closer to your reserved time.
- Late Arrival: We want you to be able to relax and enjoy every moment of your seating. All food for all members of your party will be delivered to your table all at once, on tiered stands. We use 1 stand per 2-3 people. Plates of food are not delivered individually, as they are in a typical restaurant. This means if someone in your party is delayed, this will delay food service to the entire group. For these reasons, it is important that all members of your party arrive on time. Your seat will be held for fifteen (15) minutes past your reservation time. Please be courteous; If you are running late, please call to let us know: (417) 926-1827. We do not refund no-shows. If you cancel at the last minute or no-show, we will not make reservations for you in future.
